Moving Back to England: A New Chapter for Tides & Trails Travel Co.

After spending a year on a Canadian working holiday, exploring the vast landscapes of the Rockies and the coastal beauty of British Columbia, we’ve packed up and returned to England. Tides & Trails Travel Co. is officially heading back in the UK! While our base has changed, our passion for exploring the world and sharing our experiences remains as strong as ever.

A Transatlantic Perspective

One of the most exciting things about this move is the opportunity to create content that bridges both sides of the Atlantic. We’ve always loved blending the adventure of North America with the rich history and diverse landscapes of Europe. Now, with England as our home base, we have even more access to the hidden gems, scenic trails, and charming villages that make Europe such a dream destination.

That being said, our time in Canada left a lasting impact, and we're not leaving that experience behind. We'll continue sharing guides, itineraries, and travel tips for those looking to explore the national parks, coastlines, and road trip routes of Canada and the USA. Whether you’re dreaming of a Pacific Northwest hiking escape or a historic stroll through the Cotswolds, we're here to inspire adventures on both sides of the pond.

What This Means for Tides & Trails

So, what can you expect moving forward? More diverse content, for one! With Europe at my doorstep, I’m excited to dive deeper into exploring the Alps, the Scottish Highlands, the Mediterranean coast, and so much more. We'll be hitting the trails, testing out train routes, and uncovering off-the-beaten-path destinations that bring out the magic of slow, immersive travel.

At the same time, we're continue revisiting and updating my North American guides, ensuring they stay relevant and useful for future travellers. This next chapter of Tides & Trails will be a mix of fresh European discoveries and reflections on my North America experience—adventure without borders.
